QCF Level 3 Award - Emergency First Aid at Work
COVID-19 UPDATE FROM THE HSE
Our Ofqual regulated Emergency First Aid at Work course (6 hours) will include an e-certificate (or paper copy if preferred) valid for three years.
The course will include the following:
- Recovery Position
- Bandaging
- Assessing dangerous situations
- How and when to obtain help
- Contents of a First Aid Box
- Falls and Fractures
- Heart Attack
- Diabetes
- Strokes
- Unconsciousness
- Choking
- Cardio-Pulmonary Resuscitation
- Poisoning
- Faints and epilepsy
- Bleeding and shock
- Burns
- Defibrillation awareness
- Guidance on delivering first aid during the Covid-19 pandemic
This Ofqual approved qualification came into effect on the 1st October 2009, along with new guidance on assessing the needs of First Aid in your workplace. Please click here for an overview of HSE requirements and frequently asked questions.

We can deliver this course on your premises if preferred, reducing your costs in respect of additional time out and travelling. If you wish your first aid training course to take place at your choice of venue, these are the requirements that would be needed to fulfil a course comfortably and safely. Government guidelines regarding Covid-19 must also be adhered to.
