Courses
Emergency Life Support
This is a short 4 hour course covering basic life support. A certificate of attendance will be issued.
The following subjects will be covered briefly owing to the time restraints:
- Recovery Position
- Assessing dangerous situations
- How and when to obtain help
- Contents of a First Aid Box
- Heart Attack
- Unconsciousness
- Choking
- Cardio-Pulmonary Resuscitation
- Faints and epilepsy
- Bleeding and shock
If you wish your first aid training course to be delivered at your choice of venue, these are the requirements that need to be met.
If you require an HSE registered course, the minimum course is a 6hr course Emergency First Aid at Work.
