Emergency First Aid at Work for School Staff

£600.00 (up to 12 people) + £10.00/person/certificate


This Ofqual regulated course is subject to ongoing assessment throughout the day – there is no final exam.

Our Emergency First Aid at Work course for School Staff (6 hours) covers the following subjects including topics specifically related to children in your care, ie: anaphylactic shock, croup, convulsions, meningitis etc.  It is an EFAW with a paediatric bias.

  • Unconsciousness

  • Poisoning
  • Faints and epilepsy
  • Bleeding and shock
  • Burns
  • Childhood illnesses
  • Defibrillation awareness

We can deliver this course on your premises, reducing your costs in respect of additional time out and travelling.  If you wish your first aid training course to take place at your choice of venue, these are the requirements that would be needed to fulfil a course comfortably and safely

If you require a 12 hour Paediatric first aid course, we now offer the Level 3 Paediatric First Aid course.  This meets Ofsted requirements and is part of the QCF framework which, on completion, delivers 2 credit points towards any NVQ qualification.
