This new HSE approved qualification came into effect on the 1st October 2009, along with new guidance on assessing the needs of First Aid in your workplace. Please click here for an overview of HSE requirements.
Our Emergency First Aid at Work course for Therapists (6 hours) will include HSE registered certificates, valid for three years, and will include the following:
- Recovery Position
- Bandaging
- Assessing dangerous situations
- How and when to obtain help
- Contents of a First Aid Box
- Falls and Fractures
- Heart Attack
- Diabetes
- Strokes
- Unconsciousness
- Choking
- Cardio-Pulmonary Resuscitation
- Poisoning
- Faints and epilepsy
- Bleeding and shock
- Burns

If you would like this course to take place at your choice of venue, there are certain venue requirements that need to be met.
