Food Hygiene Course

9.30am – 4.00pm (£55.00 per person to include Certificate)


Training includes:

 

  • Food safety hazards
  • Handling food
  • Temperature control
  • Refrigeration
  • Chilling and cold holding
  • Cooking, reheating and hot holding
  • Storing food safely
  • Cleaning Food premises and equipment
  • Record keeping and recording
  • HACCP principles
  • Legislation

 

Examinations are multiple choice and consist of 30 questions. They last for 40 minutes.


Books are available at £3.00 each - these are not necessary but are a useful addition.

This Level 2 course is suitable for all food handlers, new employees or as refresher training.


Candidates to bring: lunch, paper/pen and some form of photographic identification (the tutor requires this for certificates).
