9.30am – 4.00pm (£75.00 per person + £8.50/certificate
Training includes:
- Food safety hazards
- Handling food
- Temperature control
- Refrigeration
- Chilling and cold holding
- Cooking, reheating and hot holding
- Storing food safely
- Cleaning Food premises and equipment
- Record keeping and recording
- HACCP principles
- Legislation
Examinations are multiple choice and consist of 30 questions. They last for 40 minutes.
Books are available at £3.00 each - these are not necessary but are a useful addition.
This Level 2 course is suitable for all food handlers, new employees or as refresher training.
Candidates to bring: lunch, paper/pen and some form of photographic identification (the tutor requires this for certificates).
