As an employer, you need to make provision for vital first aid if staff are injured or ill at work*. To do this, you need to supply equipment and appoint staff with first aid skills.

This First Aid at Work course is a comprehensive introduction to first aid provision and is designed for candidates who are first aiders in their work place. Subjects will be covered in depth and will also include: awareness of current regulations, safe best practice, record keeping (recording accidents, RIDDOR), first aid kits, disposing safely of clinical waste etc.

This course will give the candidate an accepted Health & Safety Executive approved accreditation as a first aider in the workplace. Written and practical assessment will take place on the fourth day. Certificates are valid for 3 years.
