Which course do I need?

As a business owner or employer, choosing the right first aid course for you and your employees can feel like a daunting task.

While there is technically no right or wrong answer, the Health and Safety (First-Aid) Regulations 1981 require you to provide “adequate and appropriate first-aid equipment, facilities and people” although what is considered “adequate and appropriate” will vary from workplace to workplace and will depend on your first aid needs risk assessment.

The HSE offers guidance on how to carry out a first aid needs risk assessment and what action should be taken based on the outcome.

1 Day / £85 per person

An engaging 6 hour course comprising of practical and theoretical training. Covers first aid hygiene, CPR, anatomy, choking, bleeding and more.

3 Days / £215 per person

This intensive 3-day course blends practical and theoretical study to cover all aspects of basic life support, leaving the learner feeling confident and equipped with the knowledge to tackle any emergency situation. This course is ideal for those in a more hazardous workplace.

2 Days / £165 per person

This course is for those who currently hold a First Aid at Work certificate that is due to expire soon. Re-capping all the aspects of the 3-day course in a more condensed delivery. There will be time for questions, so any topics that the learner is unsure of can be covered in more detail.
